California Privacy Notice
Last updated August 15, 2026
This notice supplements our Privacy Policy and applies to California residents. It uses the terms defined in the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act.
We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined in the CCPA, and we have not done so in the preceding twelve months. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information beyond the purposes the CCPA permits without additional notice.
Personal information we collect
In the preceding twelve months we have collected the following statutory categories:
- Identifiers — name, business name, postal address, email address, telephone number, IP address
- Commercial information — quotes requested, orders placed, materials purchased, delivery records
- Internet or network activity — server log data about pages visited on this site
- Professional or employment-related information — your role and the contracting business you represent
We do not collect biometric information, precise geolocation, or the contents of your private communications with others.
Where the information comes from
- Directly from you, through the website form, email, telephone, or in person at our counter
- Automatically from your device when you use the website
- From carriers and manufacturers in the course of fulfilling an order
Why we collect it
We use personal information for these business purposes:
- Preparing quotations and fulfilling orders
- Delivery, invoicing, and collections
- Customer service and warranty support
- Keeping records required by tax and resale-certificate rules
- Security, fraud prevention, and maintaining the website
Who we disclose it to
For the business purposes above, we disclose personal information to service providers and contractors bound by written agreements — hosting and email providers, freight carriers, manufacturers handling a warranty claim, and our accountants and attorneys. We do not disclose personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising.
Your rights
As a California resident you may ask us to:
- Tell you what categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, where we got it, why we collected it, and to whom we disclosed it
- Delete the personal information we hold about you, subject to exceptions such as records we must keep for tax purposes
- Correct inaccurate personal information
- Limit the use of sensitive personal information, where applicable
We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights. We do not offer financial incentives in exchange for personal information.
