Terms and Conditions
Last updated August 15, 2026
These terms govern your use of this website and, unless a signed agreement between us says otherwise, every quotation, order, and sale made by IAUSA.
By using the site or placing an order, you accept these terms. If you are accepting on behalf of a company, you confirm that you have authority to bind it.
Wholesale trade only
We sell to fence contractors, builders, and trade customers. Pricing shown or quoted is wholesale pricing offered to businesses, and may require a valid contractor licence and a California resale certificate on file.
Quotations and pricing
A quotation is an invitation to order, not a binding offer. Quotes are valid for the period stated on their face and are subject to material availability at the time an order is placed.
Manufacturer price changes, freight surcharges, and material shortages can affect pricing. Where a quoted price is no longer available, we will tell you before processing the order rather than substituting a different price.
Orders
An order is accepted when we confirm it in writing or when we ship it, whichever comes first. We may decline any order, and we may limit quantities on stocked items.
Special orders and non-stocked profiles are placed with the manufacturer on your instruction and cannot generally be cancelled once production has begun.
Payment
Payment terms are stated on your quotation or invoice. Where credit terms have been extended, invoices are due within the period shown, and overdue balances may be subject to interest and to suspension of further deliveries.
Title to materials passes on payment in full. Risk of loss passes on delivery or on collection at will-call.
Delivery and will-call
We run route delivery across Southern California. Delivery dates are estimates given in good faith; we are not liable for delays caused by carriers, manufacturers, weather, or other events outside our control.
Someone must be present at the delivery site to receive and inspect the load. Will-call collection at our Sun Valley yard is by appointment during business hours.
Shortages or visible damage must be noted on the delivery receipt at the time of delivery and reported to us within five business days.
Returns
Stocked material in resalable condition may be returned within the window stated on your invoice, with the original invoice number and prior authorisation from us. A restocking charge may apply.
Cut, drilled, painted, assembled, or otherwise modified material cannot be returned. Special-order and non-stocked items cannot be returned.
Product information and finish variation
Dimensions, weights, and specifications published on this site come from the manufacturer and may be updated without notice. Confirm critical dimensions against the manufacturer's current data sheet before fabricating.
Powder-coated aluminum are produced in batches. Color and wood-grain texture can vary slightly between production runs, and outdoor exposure changes appearance over time. Order the full quantity for a run at one time where color match matters, and allow for reasonable variation.
Warranties
We manufacture what we warrant. Aluminum components carry a limited lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects, for as long as the original purchaser owns the property where they are installed. The powder-coat finish is warranted for twenty years for film integrity and twenty years for colour and gloss retention, to AAMA 2604. Vinyl carries a twenty-year limited warranty from the date of purchase.
Registration is a condition of cover, not a formality: the warranty does not take effect until the installation is registered, and it must be registered within 60 days of the purchaser receiving the registration link. We may deny a claim, in whole or in part, on a product that was never registered or was registered late.
Cover depends on correct installation by a qualified installer following our written instructions, and applies only at the original installation location — it does not carry over if the product is moved. The warranty is personal to the original purchaser and is not transferable; it ends when the property changes hands.
The aluminum warranty also requires the product to be maintained per our Care and Maintenance Guide, with dated photographs taken before and after each cleaning. Keep the records from the two most recent cycles: we may ask for them, and we may decline a claim without them.
Not covered: impact, misuse, alteration, improper installation, incompatible fasteners and galvanic corrosion, soil movement, acts of God, and normal weathering — fading, chalking, and the gradual change in appearance that outdoor exposure produces. Remedy is repair or replacement at our discretion; labour to remove or reinstall, freight, and disposal are not included.
This is a summary. The written warranty documents govern, and where this page and those documents differ, the documents apply. Except as they provide, materials are supplied without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, to the fullest extent permitted by California law.

Our liability arising out of any order is limited to the purchase price of the materials giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for labour costs, lost profits, delay damages, or other indirect or consequential losses.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under California law.
